Dr. Rosa van Niekerk is the founder and sole proprietor of Rosa van Niekerk Attorneys, a well-established general legal practice based in Westonaria, South Africa. She obtained her B.Proc degree from the University of the Free State in 2000 and has been practising law for more than 25 years.

With extensive experience in both civil and criminal litigation, Dr. van Niekerk has built a reputation for providing practical, results-driven legal solutions. The firm offers professional legal services in a wide range of practice areas, including Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Debt Collection, and General Legal Services.

Family Law remains one of her primary areas of expertise, with a particular focus on matters involving domestic violence and gender-based violence (GBV). She is committed to protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals and has dedicated much of her legal career to advocating for victims and ensuring access to justice.

In 2017, Dr. van Niekerk successfully completed the Aspirant Candidate Judge Training Programme presented by the former Law Society of the Northern Provinces, preparing legal practitioners for possible judicial appointment.

She regularly participates in public awareness campaigns addressing gender-based violence, bullying, and child protection, and has contributed to numerous pro bono legal matters and community outreach programmes.
